Although the current range of mid-large BMW no longer have the glorious V8 sound track of the previous generation, what the BMW M4 loses in eight cylinder sound, it gains almost everywhere else. The turbos now provide that meaty, torquey push that the old V8 simply couldn’t provide.
This isn’t just the “normal” M4 either – the BMW M4 Competition Package contains all with the latest technology that the standard M4 brings, but also has upgraded suspension, dampers and anti-roll bars, more power, tuned differential, stability and traction control systems, as well as a beefier exhaust note. All of this keeps BMW’s latest M car right at the top of the pile when it comes to doing lap after lap on the formidable Nürburgring Nordschleife.
