WORK AT THE NÜRBURGRING AND SPA!

RSR is hiring! We’re looking to add to our team of dedicated and passionate staff at the best race tracks in the world: The Nürburgring and Spa-Francorchamps! You must have a passion for all things cars and motorsport, and be prepared to work hard during the busy season!

About working at RSR:

  • We’re generally looking for full time, year round staff. However contractors and part time staff will also be considered.
  • Since this is a seasonal business, be prepared to work longer hours during the season! However, this is balanced with more time off and lower hours in the winter months.
  • Weekend work is required! Days can be long and tiring so it is important to be able to keep up with the demands of the job.

EU Working permits and visas:

  • We generally prefer to hire staff that already have the appropriate documentation to work and live in Germany
  • The process for a German working visa can take over 6 months, and requires you to have specialised skills in order to be accepted
  • It can be quite a culture shock to move to Germany, especially if you are not fluent in German.
  • We have and have had many international team members, so anything is possible!

Languages:

  • Our main spoken language in the office is English. Therefore, to communicate with your team members and customers, this is a requirement.
  • We recommend having at least some knowledge of German, as this makes day to day life here much easier.
  • Our team also speak Spanish, Italian, French, Greek and Dutch!

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Instructor and Office Staff – Nürburgring

We’re looking for someone who has experience instructing on the Nürburgring to join our team – both on track and in office making the business run from day to day. Our small, close-knit team does a little bit of everything to make sure the work gets done and the customers are as happy as possible! Office and general work is expected to be about 80% of the day, while instruction the remaining 20%.

Responsibilities include:

  • Customer care (Sign in, safety briefings, sign-out)
  • General office duties (Paperwork, cleaning, organisation)
  • Instruction on the Nürburgring Racetrack, keeping cars and customers safe, instructing from the passenger seat.
  • Sales enquiries (Answering customer emails and calls, managing bookings and payments)
  • Road Tours (leading a group of customers)

Requirements:

  • Fluent in the English language. German language skills are an advantage. French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or Portuguese is a bonus.
  • You must be interested in cars! Being able to match the right cars and explain the difference in the fleet is important.
  • Experience driving on the Nurburgring Nordschleife is required here.
  • Experience instructing from the passenger side.
  • You must be an organised person and work well in a team environment.
  • Experience with formatting and sending professional emails, experienced with excel and other office based programs.

Designer and Social Media – Nürburgring

We’re looking to increase our marketing and media presence in a big way over the coming years. As a start this will be continuing showing our brand in advertising to the same standard as what we have now, and then growing and improving the look and feel. You will work closely with RSR management to make us a brand known around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating of print and web ready advertisements
  • Organisation and creation of content
  • Management of social media pages
  • Optimising existing content
  • Expansion of the RSR brand

Requirements:

  • Fluent in the English language. German language skills are an advantage. French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or Portuguese is a bonus.
  • Must be full time based at our Nürburgring office in Germany
  • Some experience in social media from a business development point of view.
  • A powerhouse of new business ideas.
  • Competent with newsletters, websites and HTML also with creative products like the Adobe suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign and similar.

Video & Editing Assistant – Nürburgring

If you’re a creative looking to get into the world of motorsport, cars and race tracks like the Nürburgring and Spa – then this is the opportunity for you. We’re looking for someone who can assist our existing Media guru to create additional content for our brand(s). You must have experience with professional videography, video editing and managing deadlines as well as working individually and self motivating.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of promotional content
  • Editing of new and existing material
  • Working with our existing Media Manager

Requirements:

  • Fluent in the English language. German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or Portuguese is a bonus.
  • Self motivating, flexible and generating creative new ideas.
  • Must have a portfolio of professional work in both photo and video.
  • Experience with creative programs, such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects. 3d and 2d modelling, and social media marketing experience is a bonus here.

Mechanic – Nürburgring

With a fleet of sports cars we need mechanics who can work under pressure while maintaining a high standard to make sure our cars are as safe and well presented as possible. You must be experienced or trained in a formal workshop setting, and be thorough and precise in your work.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Preparation of the car fleet for the track
  • Cleaning and preparation of the fleet.
  • Damage repair, parts replacement
  • Ordering and sourcing of parts

Requirements:

  • High level English or Italian language skills. High level German language skills are a big advantage.
  • Experience with Motorsport or Sports cars preferred

Track instructor, office and customer support – Spa

We’re looking for someone who has experience instructing on the Spa Racetrack to be a part of our full time Spa office team. When not instructing on track, your time will be split amongst handling customer service (in person and via email) as well as promotion and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruction on the Spa-Francorchamps Race track
  • Customer care (Sign in, safety briefings, sign-out)
  • Keep customers and cars safe on track
  • Work closely with customers to help achieve their driving goals
  • Handle sales and customer care
  • General office duties (Paperwork, cleaning, organisation)
  • Sales enquiries (Answering customer emails and calls, managing bookings and payments)
  • Road Tours (leading a group of customers)

Requirements:

  • Fluent in French Language. High level English skills. German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch are a bonus.
  • Must have experience instructing customers on a race track (not necessarily Spa, but this is an advantage)
  • You must be an organised person, self-motivating and work well in a team environment.
  • Experience with formatting and sending professional emails, experienced with excel and other office based programs.

Track Instructor (External) – Nürburgring or Spa

On our trackdays we can have upwards of 50 customers requiring instruction at the same time. Therefore we are always looking for people to join our pool of on-call, experienced instructors.

Responsibilities:

  • On-call assistance for instruction during Public Sessions at the Nürburgring and Trackdays at Spa, Nürburgring and other European circuits.
  • Have experience instructing on a race track, keeping customers and cars safe.
  • Work closely with customers to help achieve their driving goals

Requirements:

  • Fluent English, French or German language skills. Spanish, Italian and Dutch are also possible.
  • Must live locally to the Nürburgring or Spa-Francorchamps
  • Must have your own business for invoicing purposes
